Dr. Lois Vanderhoof

Dr. Lois M. Vanderhoof graduated with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Anna Maria College, Paxton, MA. She worked as a lab tech in a hospital for 5 years before being admitted to Palmer College of Chiropractic. It was in this hospital setting that she became interested in natural health and healing. While at Palmer she received several awards including Excellent X-ray Extern and Outstanding Teacher of the Year and was inducted into Pi Tau Delta, the National Honor Society. She graduated Summa cum Laude in 1976.

Dr. Vanderhoof practiced chiropractic for five years in Worcester, MA and was awarded the Outstanding Young Woman in America award. She used nutritional protocols in her practice in Massachusetts, later moving to Dallas, TX in 1982.

She continued her education in nutrition and in 1996, passed her Certification as a Clinical Nutritionist from the Board of the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists.

Since that time Dr. Vanderhoof has focused on clinical nutrition as a way to help people achieve their optimum health.

In 2002, she began using an energy medicine device called a Scenar. This has helped many of her clients reduce pain and swelling, as well as helping many other physical problems.

Dr. Vanderhoof is very committed to learning about the latest research in nutrition and attends over 36 hours of continuing education each year.
