The EPC Curriculum

“Live” Elder Planning Counselor (EPC) Exam Preparation 3.5 day classes

This delivery method allows the student to attend the 3.5 day structured “live” class preparation for the EPC Qualification that is administered on the morning of the last day.
Pre study is required.

This method utilizes a 4 Module Desk Reference covering the following curriculum:

3. Caregiving in Canada

4. End-Of-Life Planning Issues

5. Funeral Planning

6. Bereavement – Grief and the Healing Process

Module 3 – Financial Issues

1. Social Security & Medicare Programs

2. Financial Planning Basics

3. Retirement Income Basics

4. Legacy Planning

5. Travelling or Moving Abroad

6. Income Tax Planning

Module 4 – Communication and Other Timely Issues

1. The Social Aspects of Aging

2. Communicating with the 50+ Ages

3. Marketing to Our Aging Society

4. Elder Fraud, Abuse & Ethics

5. Putting It All Into Perspective
