What is included?

- You will be notified of your exam mark within 1 week of writing your exam. (No waiting for weeks!)

How can I be assured that this is not simply wasting my time?

We don't want you to waste your time and money so rest assured that the Elder Planning Counselor designation program is recognized and approved in all States for continuing education credits it is also accredited by many well known professional associations. This is the only designation program that we know of that is fully recognized and accredited as shown on this site.

Can I pay the tuition in installments? - SORRY THIS OPTION ONLY APPLIES TO THE LIVE CLASS

Yes, you may choose our payment plan option that consists of 4 equal installments.
There is a $25.00 administration fee for this option.
Your designation will be granted immediately upon successfully passing the exam and upon full payment of your tuition.

Where are the classes held and what designation program materials are required ?

click here - for dates and locations. All designation program materials are supplied so there is no need to worry about bringing anything else with you to class.

How long does it take to complete the program and become a step closer to attaining the EPC designation?

The "Live" designation preparation program consists of * 3.5 days. 3 days of intensive class study with the exam written on the half day.

* Please note - It is STRONGLY recommended that all students come to the exam preparation program ONLY after reading and becoming familiar with the Three Volume Desk Reference set. The distance learning program may be completed at your own pace you will have a 6 month time limit for completion.

Your designation is awarded immediately upon passing the 125 question multiple choice exam.

I am unable to come to the next program but I intend to come in the future...

If you are unable to attend the upcoming preparation class simply register your intention to become a member and you will ensure your current new Charter Member discount. The same applies for distance learning students. Please note you will not be charged to be on the pre enrollment list.
Our students do not pay until the first day of class!

What are the pre-requisite requirements ?

An interest in obtaining knowledge pertaining to the fastest growing segment of our population!

When and where does one write the exam and how long an exam is it ?

The exam will be written at the live class event on the last day and although there will be 3 hours allotted our experience has shown that the actual writing time is somewhere between 1.5 and 3 hours. PLEASE NOTE - Should you not feel completely comfortable writing at that time we will schedule another date for you!

Distance learning students will have the exam administered at a location as close to them as possible.

Distance Learning Students may write their exam in most major cities!

What happens if I fail the exam?

If you do not attain 70% on your exam you will be required to rewrite. There is a $100.00 fee to rewrite.

When do I pay?

Although you will not be charged for the program until 2 weeks prior to your scheduled class we request that you include your payment details at the time of enrollment. Also please be advised that should you pass your exam and you have not completed your tuition payments then your designation and certificate will not be awarded until such time as your full tuition payment is complete.

What does it take to earn my EPC designation?

All that is required is to register for the next program. If you need to travel, you should make your travel and accommodation arrangements.
